Biromantic, often shortened to Biro, is a romantic orientation that refers to someone who is romantically attracted to any two or more genders. They may or may not be sexually attracted to those genders as well. Biromantic individuals may not have a preference and may or may not feel a difference between genders.
The sexual counterpart is bisexual.

The first known use of the word biromantic is in a news article from 2005 about asexual individuals.
Like most terms related to the split attraction model, it most likely emerged from forum boards on the Asexual Visibility and Education Network (AVEN). The earliest known definition of biromantic comes from Urban Dictionary on April 20, 2008.
