Chest Sofrimento is an umbrella term used to describe a disconnect, dysphoria and/or dysmorphia towards one's chest. This could be due to one's gender identity, altersex identity, intersex body, trauma, neurodivergence or anything else.

One who has chest sofrimento may also experience NCST sofrimento, genital sofrimento and/or gonadal sofrimento. It can be experienced by anyone, regardless of whether they are cisgender, transgender, non-binary, anonbinary, etc. One may also experience chest euphoria.

Chest Dysphoria is a feeling of discomfort, distress or self-hatred stemming from a disconnect between one's internal desire of chest-type and one's actual chest-type, due to the fact that one feels as though their chest does not correctly represent their gender identity.

Chest Dysmorphia is a feeling of discomfort, distress or self-hatred towards one's chest that causes or comes from a desire for different type of chest.

The difference between chest dysphoria is that chest dysmorphia is not related to one's gender identity.
