Cishet, also known as Cishetallo, Pericishet, Periallocishet, Monocishet, Monoallocishet, Perimonocishet or Perimonoallocishet, is a term used by those in the LGBTQ+ community to describe those who are not members of the community in any way, shape or form. This means individuals who are simultaneously cisgender, cissex, heterosexual, heteroromantic, suptilic allosexual, suptilic alloromantic, monogamous, dyadic, perioriented and exclusively one of the two binary genders. System members must also be afficgender.
Exclusionists have often used this term to try and erase a-spec individuals, particularly heteroromantic asexuals or aromantic heterosexuals, from the community. They will also use to to try and erase varioriented, intersex, polyamorous, non-suptilic allospec, cis non-binary and detragender individuals.
The terms "cishetallo" or "allocishet" is sometimes preferable to make it clear that one is not referring to a-spec individuals.
Some use the terms "pericishet," "periallocishet" or "dyacishet" to refer to cishet individuals who are perisex/dyadic, or not intersex, to show that intersex individuals have a place in the LGBTQ+ community.
Those who consider polyamorous individuals to be inherently LGBTQ+ may use the terms "monocishet," "perimonocishet," "monoallocishet" or "perimonoallocishet," 'mono' referring to 'monogamous.'
Queern't and conformant can be more encompassing terms to classify cishets. COGAP was coined as an acronym as a counterpart to MOGAI.
