Gaybian, lesbigay, lesgay, lesbiuranian, velaurian,[1] lesbivincian (lesbincian, lesvincian), or geiseric refers to someone who identifies as both gay (turian, or otherwise) and lesbian in some way. Some of the reasons why someone may identify include:[2]

  • Feeling as though attraction to both men (or non-women) and women (or non-men) is queer
  • Being multigender or genderfluid and being attracted to men in an achillean/vincian/gay way, or as a non-woman, and women in a sapphic/lesbian way, or as a non-man
  • Experiencing split attraction that is lesbian and gay, for example, sexually attracted to non-men, and romantically attracted to non-women

Some gaybian individuals may also have a fluid sexuality (eg. abrosexual), or consider themselves mspec (eg. bisexual), but not all. Those who consider themselves as bi gaybians may specifically use the term lesbigay,[3][4] or just use gaybian.[5]

Flag[]

The most commonly recognised gaybian flag was designed by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on Tumblr on February 5th, 2020[6]. An alternate flag was also made by the same Tumblr blog on August 6th, 2018[7].

An anonymous Wiki user, on June 25th, 2020, also created two more gaybian flags. The warm stripes represent sapphic attraction to women. The cool stripes represent achillean attraction to men. The white stripe represents diversity, love, and inclusivity.

One of the first gaybian flags was made by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on Tumblr on June 18th, 2018. This was the lesbian gay flag or lesbigay flag[8].

The geiseric flag was created by Tumblr user stargeisers on or before July 26th, 2018[9]. The term gai is also included in the definition of this term.
