Heteroromantic, or Heteromantic, refers to someone who feels romantic attraction to individuals of the "opposite" gender, or genders unlike one's own. Heteroromantic is most commonly used by women who are romantically attracted to men and men who are romantically attracted to women, though it can be used by those of any gender.
The sexual equivalent is heterosexual. Heteroromantic is considered the opposite of homoromantic.
