Lunian is an alternate term for m-spec lesbians that acts as an umbrella term for bi-lesbians, pan-lesbians, omni-lesbians, poly-lesbians and other m-spec lesbian orientations.

M-spec lesbians are individuals who identify as both a lesbian and multisexual in some way, there are many ways in which this may happen. Some of these consist of:

  • Using the Split Attraction Model and identifying as lesbian or homo- and as a multi- identity (eg. lesbian or homosexual, biromantic)
  • Feeling more emphasis on their lesbian attraction over attraction to other genders
  • Not being able to picture themselves actually dating men or male-aligned genders
  • Being duosexual and switching between lesbian and m-spec
  • Feeling somewhere between lesbian and m-spec, such as being homoflexible
  • Being abrosexual or having a fluid orientation
  • Being attracted to all non-men and considering this attraction to multiple genders

The m-spec turian equivalent is solian, the m-spec straight equivalent is deltheon, and the m-spec gay equivalent is stellian.

It has no known stripe meanings, but is meant to go hand-in-hand with the solian flag, and the aurora lesbian flag. The alternate lunian flag was made by the same user on September 9th, 2021. It was inspired by the sunset lesbian flag.
