Mesque or Hexian is a term referring to someone who identifies as both mspec lesbian and mspec veldian/turian, either being fluid between them or being both simultaneously. Someone may identify this

way due to being multigender, genderfluid, and/or having a fluid sexuality (eg. abrosexual).

Similar terms include gaybian and mesquin. Mesque is also within the astral alignments, a collection of mspec orientations.

History & Flags[]

The term mesque was coined on December 8th, 2020 by Tumblr user kenochoric[1]. Hexian was then coined on December 11th, 2021, by Tumblr user hexian-info[2].

The mesque flag was created on December 14th by kenochoric using a blend of their mspec lesbian flag and Tumblr user neopronouns' mspec gay man flag. The coiner chose an eclipse as its symbol because the moon is often associated with wlw/nlw, and the sun with mlm/nlm[3].

Four hexian flags were included on the coining post for the term with no confirmed meaning.
